Defect #40005
closedSIM Card Programming
0%
Description
During our product testing we found that the SIM cards we purchased from Amarisoft are bending and we have concluded through experimentation that this bending has resulted in devices losing communication with the Callbox. We are trying to use Gialer Programmable SIM Cards that are Industrial Grade to mitigate this bending issue, but now we are having problems with these SIM cards not working after programming them. Gialer provides GRSIMwrite 4.4.4 software program for programming their SIM cards.

I’ve changed the parameters specified on this page: Amarisoft Tech Academy
1. IMSI: 001010123456789
2. Authentication algorithm: XOR
3. Ki: 00112233445566778899aabbccddeeff
4. Admin key: 11111111
5. Pin: 1234
6. PUK: 12345678
I read an unused Amarisoft SIM Card and successfully wrote to one of these Gialer SIM Cards. See attached screen shot of what was written to the Gialer SIM card. Even by doing this the units are not communicating with the Callbox. Any ideas on why these Gialer SIM cards are not working? And how to get them to work?
