I think it would be a nice, gee-whiz sort of feature that:
if there is a TAGS file in the repository from ctags, then
double-clicking on a symbol in the source views brings
up a list of links to the definition(s) of that symbol from the TAGS file in the form of links, preferrably at the same
revision in the code.

It might make sense instead/also to support LXR integration with the
repository browser, and use the LXR tools to index the code...

This feature is very interesting. I think you should increase the priority of this... It would make redmine really genuine :)
