Feature #4646
opencheckbox: issue status notification
0%
Description
hi all!
we use redmine in a no-software-development company and we don't need an email notification on every issue updates but only on some particular updates (change on particular issue status). We use custom issue statuses (pending, working .. ) that don't need to be notified about.
So it could be better if the administrator can check manually (like a checkbox in the issue status list) what status can generate an email notification when changed to.
Example:
NEW to ASSIGNED > authors and watchers DO receive an email notification (the check is checked)
ASSIGNED to WORKING > authors and watchers DON'T receive an email notification (the check is unchecked)
I think the same about the DONE: I don't want to bother authors and watchers if an issue is changed from 30 to 60%.
I think that these modifications can increase redmine popularity in no-software-development enviroments.
What do you think?
