hello,

we are running a redmine installtion the first time behind a hardware loadbalacer and when we activate "Authentication required" and someone is browsing to the starting page https://domain.com/ -> then the user is redirected to http://domain.com/login?back_url=http....

we cannot set

RequestHeader set X_FORWARDED_PROTO 'https'

at the loadbalancer. when setting this on the backend servers this doesnt change anything. wouldnt it be useful if redmine would read the virtual host setting ServerName https://domain.com ? this works for any other application (like shibboleth stuff) but not for redmine.

any ideas how to solve this?
