Feature #9211
openAdministrator Group (option to declare all members within this group as administrator)
0%
Description
I'm syncing all groups and users with our Active Directory (LDAP), using the redmine_ldap_sync-plugin.
https://github.com/thorin/redmine_ldap_sync
Today I have to set all users manually as Administrator.
If there is an option to define an group as Administrator,
I could add/ remove users within our Active Directory Group and they automaticly get the permission to administrate redmine.
Since administration user changes will not happen very often, I set priority to low.

U can define a role giving it all rights, then create a group and give the group the role for all projects. I am not exactly sure which features are missing to "system admin" but for us managing projects is admin enough.
Maybe the plugin option "Attributes to be synced" can be enhanced to sync "admin" switch for redmine user object too. You then would need an ldap attribute for ur ldap user class with same name as redmine admin attribute.
