watcher list in new issue page
Added by Gerry Hawkins about 14 years ago
(running 1.0.1-stable)
I am evaluating Redmine and like it.
One of my basic questions:
In the new issue page I have a list of possible watchers at the bottom. This seems to be growing as I add new users. I have not seen a way to not have this show up. Is there a config option for this?
Thanks

No, it only shows the members of the current project though.

OK. Sort of. I was wondering as I like the cleaner look I saw when I was opening an issue for Redmine itself. Does this imply that there are no members in that project? How is assignment handled then? Don't you have to be a member of a project to be assigned an issue?
Thanks

Non, but you aren't allowed to set watchers, so the list isn't shown to you :-)

Ah ha! Thanks Felix. That did it.
As I was experimenting with setting it up I wanted to see everything, so in the Roles area I selected everything. And I was running as admin too.
Thanks
