I am really enjoying Redmine

This is an Excellent product. I was originally trying to use a Project.net production, but the difficulty of the install was nuts. Redmine was up and running in minutes on Ubuntu 10.04, so I put it into use on a production environment right away. I am actually using it for Construction Project Management, so I had a few mods to make to the stock platform, but everything went smoothly. I have some ideas that would improve it more for my use (some might already exist):

-Where can I put dollars? (besides in my pocket of course)
-A way to produce reports in pdf to give to my clients
-Maybe more controls in the settings panel that offer a better control of how the work is processed and analyzed
-More graphs and business intelligence tools
-A way to integrate this tool into an ERP smoothly

Thank you for creating a quality project management tool and I look forward to working with it (and maybe you guys too) more in the future.

  1. Donate button in the right sidebar,
  2. Many things already have PDF export, if not find someone or some company (Eric Davis, Finnlabs, …) to implement it for you, more karma to you if you release it (non-exhaustiv list of CommercialOfferings),

(I know Finnlabs has some experience adapting and deploying redmine for big companies and a heavily modified reporting engine, they might be worth asking. Disclaimer: I'm probably going to work for them in the mid future.)
