Upgrading from 1.0.1 to 1.1.0

We would like to update to the newest version of Redmine. Is it safe to go straight from 1.0.1 to 1.1.0, or do we need to upgrade to each version inbetween as well?

You can do a straight upgrade, see RedmineUpgrade.
