Help with REST and custom issues fields

Hi all,

Does anyone know how to find a list of fields (including custom fields) that can be set when submitting a new issue via the REST API?

Shouldn't you get a "blank" template when GETting /new or /edit?

Thanks for your response Felix.

Unfortunately I'm just getting 404 errors when I try running a get GET against /new or /issues/new.
Am I misunderstanding the path?

Can you give me an example from the demo site?
For example, I've tried: http://demo.redmine.org/issues/new
