mail notification or watcher in closed project

Happy new year for all of you who loves redmine~
I think current email notification with watcher is best-fit for an open project.
- watcher is active
- watcher is happy to be notified for an every little change of issue they concern.
But it's not best-fit for a closed project (e.g. use in company)
- watcher in closed has different attitude as open - not active, just passive
- watcher don't like to receive e-mail for every trivial or frequent change of issue.
- most of watcher don't want to concern other's issue! only interested in their own issue. sometimes they are forced to be notified by boss.
- watcher want to be notified only for an important case. (issue closed or important note addition)
So I hope to disscuss about another option or workflow for closed project.
- daily or weekly e-mail notification which contains activity during daily or weekly.
- no e-mail notification util auther or watcher is willing to send
- when 'send e-mail' button on the issue page, pressed
- when issue description or note updated and contains 'send email' string.
What do you think best notification for a closed project?

Great idea
I'am in a similar environnement and it would be a nice feature in a non public project.
Another point:
Most of users are'nt interessed by issues in which there are'nt involved but i did'nt find any feature allowing to see only assigned issues. Is there such feature ?
I don't know how heavy work it might be.
Best regards,
Jean-Pierre.

Thanks for your opinion.
AFAIK assigned issue could be seen from My page > Issues assigned to me > View all issues or you could use filters from issues page (user can save custom filter if he has permission)
