How to database import redmine 0.8 to redmine 2.1.2

Old Environment:
linux version Debian GNU/linux 5.0
Redmine version 0.8-stable
Ruby version 1.8.7 (i486-linux)
Environment production
Database adapter MySQL

New Environment:
linux version ubuntu 12.10
Redmine version 2.1.2
Ruby version 1.9.3 (x86_64-linux)
Environment production
Database adapter MySQL

I need help,

[Question1]-Why the redmine-0.8-stable web page on the word occur a question mark?

[Question2]-I tried redmine database export, use "mysqldump" way, but display garbled problem. How to solve?

[Question3]-I found redmine-0.8-stable database data and redmine-2.1.2 database data is not the same.

How can I import redmine-0.8-stable into redmine-2.1.2 ?

You can take a look at the upgrade wiki page (I've updated from 0.9.x to the latest version with that wiki).

The most important issue is to backup your database first.
Due to a miss configuration I've destroyed my database at the first try.

I try to copy the old system redmine-0.8-stabke to the new environment path : /var/www/redmine.

Web pages can display, but can not log in, The upper left corner of links was gone!

My question is how to set database or change the other settings?

At which step number of the wiki do you have problems?

The screenshot is OK though... What exactly do you mean?

Do the databases have the same collation?

I had try [[http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/RedmineUpgrade]], but Unsuccessful.

I had solved redmine-0.8-stable upgrade for redmine-2.1.2

step1: First, new environment database installed the old system sql data.

step2: Follow the link teaching, re-installed

Two system database merge, and my redmine system can normal.
