How to send notifications only to assignee?

We want Redmine to send notifications only to assignee, instead of to everyone involved in the project. But no such settings could be found.
Sending notification mails to everyone can lead to too many mails to people. They could ignore mails from Redmine in the future. So we decide only to notify people that must be notified.

Any help, please?

You can setup it for every user when you are admin .
For example , setup it for user with id 10 , http://your.redmine.site/users/10/edit

And users can setup it by themselves via http://your.redmine.site/my/account

Yes and this obviously works as soon as the assignee is a person and not a group.
