Security in 2.5.2

Added by cj blanston almost 8 years ago

How would I go about telling whether a given version is "safe" or preferred from a security point of view? For example I was wondering whether I could run 2.5.2 and whether all the known security vulns have been patched in that version (or whether I have to run something newer). I got overwhelmed a bit by the issues list on the web site and don't see anything highlighting the security posture of the different versions. Thanks in advance!

There is a summary overview for security issues: https://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/Security_Advisories

PS: normally, a known security issue is set private until resolved (only Redmine-members can see the reported issue)
