migrate redmine version 2.4.1 to 3.2.8. Is that possible?

Dear all,

I have redmine 2.4.1 with a lot of contents.

I would like to migrate all contents including database to another redmine instance which is on version 3.2.8.

I wonder if I can do this smoothly. Or, am I going to pass through a lot of trouble? Is it still possible?

Is there any tutorial to do this?

Check the plugins. Some of them may have to be updated first to newest versions. Some of them are obsolete and have to be removed.
