Projects view split into columns
Added by Ben Jokisch almost 6 years ago
Hi there, it seems my projects view is split up into multiple columns, instead of a single column as viewed in the Redmine live demo. Is there a setting I'm missing to change this?

Alternative 1: I would try shorter project descriptions to see if that get you closer to the sample screenshot from a demo.
Alternative 2:
Lengthy project descriptions don't belong in that field after all, but rather in #Redmine's #Wiki.
Alternative 3: that might actually depend on a theme that you choose. For instance, when I switch to default theme I see 2 columns of projects. When I switch to Abacus, I get 1, but I also get added functionality and groupings.
In general, I really wonder why the column count is even important to you in the first place??

Having columns decreases readability for how we want to (try to) use Redmine. I figured it out though, changing "column-count: auto;" to "column-count: 1;" in application.css did the trick.
