Issues Relationship

Added by Michael Diederich almost 15 years ago

Hi,

I used the search and tryed myself, but I need your help!

I have a working package, which is calculated with xx working days. I can break it down into 5 pieces, each depending on the other. I have no due date for this project. I want to add all calculated working days and redmine should say me: If you start on 1st June, your whole development team can finish this project on 15th june in the following order of this gantt diagramm.

My problems are:

- Without due date, I cannot see it in the gantt diagramm
- My estiamted working time does not effect the due date
- The relations with "blocked by" are only effecting the first and the second ticket, not the 3rd and following tickets..

Thanks for any help,

da didi

My plugin, Schedules, can do this. You tell it how many hours each day each of your team members is working and it will calculate start and due dates for issues (and the end date for the version too).

We already have your plugin in place, have set the next weeks our working times and free days, but I still search for the "calculate now" button ;) What are the requirements for the calculation? We do not have any versions in place, just some tickets with start daten, estimate hours and due dates..

Thanks!

You need to create a version. When you do, a button on the version view page will appear called "Estimate".
