Best way to migrate from 1.0.2 SQLite to last version MySQL ?

Added by vincent mugnier about 2 years ago

Hello,

I just took over our company's redmine server.

It is under Linux, it's a SQLite Redmine v1.0.2.

For you, what is the simplest way to migrate it to Windows MySQL last redmine version ?

Best regards

Vincent

Hi, I would:
  1. set up current Redmine v1.0.2 on windows
  2. migrate Redmine to first Redmine release supporting your target DBMS (still keeping SQLite)
  3. migrate from SQLite to brand new DBMS
  4. migrate to newest Redmine release

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion.

I've installed Redmine v1.0.2 and , I Hope, SQLite on windows.

Everything seems to be OK ... but, at the very end, http://localhost/redmine returns :

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request

Reason: Error reading from remote server

Maybe a Redmine settings problems ...

Where can I found log or something else to understand wat is wrong ?

Best regards

Vincent
