Wiki Format in custom fields

Hi,

I have a custom field where I want to use the Wiki format, mainly to convert the issue# and revision#.

Can I use wiki format in custom fields?

I am also interesting in using wiki formatting in custom fields... Is this possible?

There is a ticket already for this request: #6236. But there are also some duplicates as it seems.

Have a look and add a +1 if you'd like to get it considered.
