how to set working days/weekends

is it possible to set the working days to anything other Monday - Friday, so that they will appear greyed in the Gantt and Calendar?
I am using version 0.8.7

https://www.redmine.org/issues/27096 according to this it has on "Global Settings" but I've checked my 4.2.2 version and not found!

Administrators can configure the non-working days in Administration -> Settings -> Issue Tracking -> Non-working days. All days checked there:

  • will appear greyed out in the Gantt charts and calendars,
  • will be skipped when calculating the new start date for dependent issues with a follows relation

With works without any plugins since Redmine 2.2.0 when #2161 was first released.

Yes Holger, but that's not what we're talking about (I think! At least that's the demand I have).

For example, on Wednesdays we all work, however December 25, 2024 is a Wednesday and it will not be a working day due the holiday.

This is a "basic" project management demand that I believe everyone has, something like "Calendar Management"
