Email notification to several people

Hello,

I m working with redmine v0.6.3.
When i create one issue i want to notify several people working on the same project. Usually it sends just a message to issue creator and to assignee. But i want to put several peoeple in CC, or i want to assign an issue to several people. How can i do this?
Even when i make a news, i want that some ppl working in the same project get email notification about that news. Is this also possible?

I have stepped onto the "New customer field" feature for Issues. Can i use this feature to make a CC1 (carbon copy 1) or a CC2 for the people i want to notify about an issue? If so, what should i write as a regular expression there, so that the members of that project appear there and i can send an email to them also.

I have not recieved any answer so far.
I would like to give a suggestion: is it possible as a project leader, when giving an issue to an assignee, to put some people on the watch list myself? Since i saw people in watch list come into cc and that also would be fine for me.

I would be very thankful for an answer.

Of course you can't: custom fields are not active fields. But you can request a feature to add a CC field the way bugzilla use them. From my point of view, this should be an option activable by the administrator by trackers.

Until the feature comes (and if it comes) one can create "dummy" users with email group email i.e. "".

Thanks alot for your suggestions.

Even the dummy email suggestion is not bad, but i think i have to wait now for this feature to be implemented. I have several projects and many times there are other people to be notified, so its a bit complicated with this trick.

But i will add myself to the feature requests already open on this topic.
