Where is the files directory?

on http://www.redmine.org/wiki/redmine/RedmineInstall it saids under backup that you should make sure you have copies of files directory but I can't seem to find it I'm running 0.9.3.stable on ubuntu (default package). did somethign change and are the attachments now also stored in the db?

The attachments are still stored on disk, but the deb package changes the paths a little bit, e.g. configuration is stored somewhere under /etc
rather than in /your/redmine/conf
, same goes for the files
directory, though I can't say where it is. Maybe searching for all directories named redmine
would help? (with something like locate redmine
or find / -type d -name redmine
)

/etc/redmine# ls
default
/etc/redmine# cd default/
/etc/redmine/default# ls
database.yml session.yml
Ah! seems to be under:
/var/lib/redmine/default/files
I searched for redmine/files before but that didn't yield any results, the default in there messed it up.
Was getting afraid that I had to start looking through the install scripts.
