No such file or directory - config/environment.rb - Help

Iv run through several installation tutorials and keep hitting pitfalls! Google has left me finally stumped on this one. I think I have set up all the config files correctly but clearly havn't as this is the output of going to my /redmine/ web directory... "No such file or directory - config/environment.rb"

Any suggestions? Running ubuntu 10.10 server, redmine 1.0.2, ruby 1.8 and passenger 3.0.0

Make sure the permissions on the file are correct and passenger (not necessarily run as the same user as your webserver!) can access them.

webserver certainly has sutiable permissions... how do I check the passenger? please excuse me still being a linux novice.
