Version Sharing

Hi folks,

I'm evaluating Redmine and am a bit confused by Version Sharing .

I have a Main Project and in it I have a version that I've defined sharing with sub-projects. Then I've defined sub-projects. Within those projects I would expect to see that version, but I only see it when I'm an administrator and go to the Project>settings>Version page. I guess I'm missing the point of this feature. Could someone clarify?
