Issue Submitter not being notified of updates

The person who submitted issues is not receiving updates (aka when a note is added). I am using 1.1.2.stable. Is this because I don't have something configured correctly or because they aren't supposed to be updated?

I solved this issue myself. The project wasn't public so people who were non-members didn't get the emails. They are getting them now.

It would be nice in the future to have non-public project but have the submitters get updates.

Thanks I've just run into exactly the same issue and was going to go back to using the API until I read this. The autoresponder emails in relation to an issue created by email are only sent to members or to public projects.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction - something that needs to be clarified in the wiki for creating issues from email.

I would agree completely about this needing clarification in the wiki.
