Installing plugins missing, uninstalled plugins appearing

I'm seeing a puzzling problem with all plugins on a production instance of Redmine. Specifically, plugins that I've installed [correctly, following all the instructions] do not appear anywhere in my Redmine web UI, and plugins that I removed continue to keep appearing in the UI.

OS: Windows XO SP3
Redmine: Bitnami Redmine 1.2.0

I installed, and later uninstalled the Google Calendar plugin. Yet, it continues to appear all over the UI, from the Administration->Plugins page to the Projects->Modules page. But the plugin isn't in the vendor/plugins folder at all!

I installed the Redmine Time Tracker plugin in the vendor/plugins folder, yet it doesn't show up anywhere in the UI, at all. Wile migrating, it did show up on the console.

These are examples of weird behavior of plugin installation and uninstallation. In all cases, deleted the right folder, added to the right folder, migrated, restarted, etc., but to no avail.

Any suggestions out there?

Never came across a problem like this. Restarting your webserver should be enough after deleting the directory from vendor/plugins. One exception should be made for database-migrations of plugins.
