how to migrate 1.1.3 to latest version

Added by Nicolas Santini about 12 years ago

Hi, Im trying to follow the instructions on the wiki but some of the files that is asking to move don't exist in my installation.
I've installed on linux mint (similar to ubuntu) using the apt-get packages. So its weird that I got such an old version anyways.
Does somebody have a step by step of how to upgrade from 1.1.3 to a newer version?

thanks

You may try to upgrade incrementally; not directly to 2.0.x but to 1.3.0 then 1.4.4 and then to 2.0.x

sounds good, but I couldnt find an entry in the wiki explaining in detail those upgrades

also, is there a way to install the latest version in ubuntu? I mean from scratch, not upgrading. I can always back up the db and import it in the new one
