demo Redmine 500 error creating Issue Priorities
Added by Rich Hib over 11 years ago
I've got a test installation at see3.m.redmine.org. I've managed to create Trackers, Users, Roles, Workflow, Projects and Subprojects.
However, when I try to create a new issue it tells me that Priority cannot be blank. Fine.
I then try to create some Priorities from Administration > Enumerations > Issue Priorities, but cannot due to Internal server error. I have the same problem trying to create Activities (time tracking)
The error message is
Internal error An error occurred on the page you were trying to access. If you continue to experience problems please contact your Redmine administrator for assistance. If you are the Redmine administrator, check your log files for details about the error. Back
Environment:
Redmine version 2.2.3.stable.11411
Ruby version 1.9.3 (x86_64-linux)
Rails version 3.2.12
Environment production
Database adapter SQLite
Redmine plugins:
redmine_hosting_plugin 2.0
From what I can see, Redmine is a great piece of software - intuitive and user friendly. Would love to try more, but am stymied at the moment. Thanks for sorting this out.

I also have this problem. The data entry does not work.
Administration > Enumeration > Issue priorities > New value
Enter a value
Create button.
Results in:
Internal error An error occurred on the page you were trying to access. If you continue to experience problems please contact your Redmine administrator for assistance. If you are the Redmine administrator, check your log files for details about the error.

As long as the demo site runs on a 2.2.3 revision the problem will persist. Please update the demo environment to the latest version. This is quite frustrating to run into this error and therefore not being able to evaluate this tool completely.
Thanks in advance.
