Public project, but private repository?

Added by Jorge S. over 11 years ago

Hi, is it possible to have a Public project but a Private Repository?

I want to make a website, and want users to report any issues, but I don't want them seeing my code.

Is it possible in Redmine? If not, any clue on how can I do?

Thanks!

Of course. You can give anonymous the right to do that and a "role" to be able to read (and write) your repo.

Thanks, indeed removing Anonymous permissions for Repositories in the Roles part made it.

Thanks

We've recently published a full guide on public projects. The section on the anonymous role answers this and many more questions on the topic. I know this reply comes late, but maybe it helps other people searching for the same answer.
