Link to repository file in Issues

I'm using Redmine 2.1.2 and I want to create a link from an Issue to a file in the repository.

In the wiki I can do this very easily by source:path/to/file. But this doesn't work in the Issues.

Redmine links work in all modules (thus including issues). See e.g. the description of issue #13945.
This functionality is tested (source:/tags/2.1.2/test/unit/helpers/application_helper_test.rb#L279) and should work without errors.
