How do I make Category a required field?

The Category is not required. So when users don't select one category, there won't be any email send to our support team.

As an Administrator:

  1. Go to Administration->Workflow->tab Field permissions
  2. Select Role, Tracker and click Edit.
  3. Find 'Category field' below and set its properties for each Issue status.
