Issues are all being imported as "New", even when statuses are provided

Hi,

I just tried to import a bunch of issues from one instance of redmine into the centralized instance we are standing up.

I mapped over only a few fields, as these are closed issue only being kept for historical purposes. The Status of all of them is "Closed", but after import they are all coming in as "New"

The other fields are set up identically, with valid data - which comes over without a problem.

Any insight into this behavior?

I am having the same issue with the current version 5.0.4, looking through the messages for any tip ..

When importing issues I take look, that Status with space symbol do not importing well (it tooks first word). If in your tracker there are no this statuses - you will not able to change statuses ))

Hi qawsed Q the issue in my case was because the status I was trying to import weren't allowed in creation time, I just updated the docs at https://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/HowTo_import_issues to clarify the issue for others.
