Unable to send the test mail - Error "An error occurred while sending mail (530-5.5.1 Authentication Required. Learn more at )"

I have downloaded Bitnami Redmine bundle. I have created an Admin account and tried to send a test mail. But, I keep getting the error "An error occurred while sending mail (530-5.5.1 Authentication Required. Learn more at )"

I tried to edit the configuration.yml as per http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/EmailConfiguration. But, still I get the same error. Could you please assist me on this?

With no information about your configuration, our only option to help you is our magic crystal ball...
Can you post your configuration.yml here? With striped secrets, of course. ;-)
