Permission problem: I'm not the manager on other project . Why still see all fields?
Added by Irene Chen 5 months ago
Hi all,
I'm having setting role permissions.
I'm a Redmine manager.
But I was assigned another role (not manager) on a project
When I create a new issue I can still see all the fields(This is the authority of the manag)
I only want to see the fields this role should display, not all of them.
Please tell me how to solve this problem?
Environment:
Redmine version 5.1.1.stable
Ruby version 3.0.6-p216 (2023-03-30) [x86_64-linux]
Thank you!!!

If you are an administrator, i.e. if you can access the global Administration section to configure trackers, roles, workflows, etc., then Redmine allows you to access everything. As an administrator, you are not restricted by project memberships and role permissions.
If you want to use a users which is bound by permissions if its project memberships, you may create a new user which is not an admin and use this user for your daily project management tasks.
