import of data from a csv file from the web-browser interface.

Dear all,
It should be great to be able to import multiple issues from a csv file from the web-browser interface and not only via the command line on server side.
This would help for example capturing customer review forms or list of Problem Reports by a "one-click" action by the Project Manager, not requesting to the administrator to run such an action and avoiding doing it "manually".
This could be accessed via a new tab (next to Issues or NewIssue) or from Issues.
An import "report" would be displayed to indicate what was not imported because of inconsistent data for examples.
What do you think of such a feature ?
many thanks

Have a look at this solution: Redmine Importer
I haven't tried it yet, but others in the forum have and said it works pretty well.
Cheers,
Vasko.

Or look at it's fork (Redmine User Import Plugin) by Hiroyuki Shirakawa announced at http://www.redmine.org/boards/3/topics/6867.
