Path to repository greyed out

Added by Yitzhak Bar Geva over 14 years ago

After setting up my project and defining Git as my SCM, I returned to the settings page, intending to change the location of the git repository under
settings -> repository -> (SCM = Git) Path to .git directory *
but the input fields were grayed out and I couldn't figure out what I have to do to to restore the "inputability". Help?

You can't edit the Repository settings. but you can delete & recreate it.

You should see delete option on settings -> repository screen, if you have admin or permission ("Roles and permissions" -> Repository -> Manage repository)

HTH.

Thanks,
Nanda

Thanks very much. I also saw something about "WS integration" or some thing. What's that? What does WS refer to? I tried to find something on it in the documentation, but couldn't.
Also, how does one delete a project? I created a scratch project on demo.redmine.org and can't find where I delete it

Thanks again

Delete a project :
  • Administration -> Projects -> Delete
Note: You have to have admin access to delete a project.
On "demo.redmine.org" you are not the admin to delete the Project. it will let you create one but not to delete.

Regarding "WS integration" - I have no clue. where did you see that? (may be WS Stands for "Web Services"?!)

See RedmineSettings and HowTo_configure_Redmine_for_advanced_Subversion_integration. So, it's documented... :)

Kind regards,

Mischa

Thank you very much. I couldn't remember where I saw it and it turns out it was in conjunction with SVN integration,
