Custom fields.

Hello. Can you please tell me, is it possible to extend custom fields types list via a plugin? I need something like "datetime" custom fields in my issues.

Same problem.

We want use redmine for project and helpdesk managment.
We want to expand custom fields list.

Actually, I think that by this moment this can't be done via plugin - even the custom fields types list is a frozen hash in a CustomField model, which means that it can't be extended by third-party code. So I had to hack RedMine's sources to make new custom field type, and add a support for viewing/editing such fields. But this approach makes upgrading RedMine itself kinda hard, because you can't be sure that your patch for RedMine can be successfully applied to a new version. I think we need something more flexible in this part of such a great thing as RedMine )))

Please file a feature request for this if you feel that the custom fields should have a datetime type.
