Overriding application helper

Hi,

I'm writing a plugin that changes some views, and I'd like to override the render_flash_messages method. I tried to write an /app/helpers/application_helper.rb like for overriding views but that doesn't work.

Is it possible to do such things ?

Hi Lilian,

it sounds totally doable for me. I've overridden a method for the calendar and gantt module within a plugin.
Hopefully this helps you a bit to figure it out.
