Redmine API for authentication foreign systems

Hello !

I would like to authenticate my users on an non redmine installation with the credentials of the redmine possibilities.
Is it possible ? Or must i check it by myself directly in the DB ?

Hints would be great

No sorry, i look for the other direction.
Redmine ist the AUTH Service, i would like to get the auth from my Redmine against an other slave.
