Description

Have only the gravatar.com as an avatar source is very limited.
It would be very cool if Redmine supports
  • Local storage
    So users can upload their pictures directly to Redmine
  • Ldap mapped pictures
    So users can use images already used in their Ldaps servers
There are two plugins that do this but they aren't updated anymore

Actually the most useful thing would be to have the local avatars. There existed a plugin Local Avatar but it is no longer under active development - and then there are some half a dozen forks in git hub, not sure which one to follow.

Never the less, I think local avatar or any thing throgh auth source (LDAP/AD) should be the ideal choice.

Feature #12197 already asks for built-in Local Avatar support.

Possibly change this to request built-in support for LDAP Avatar?
