Description
Not a big but a nice feature: open images that belong to tickets in a lightbox like it is in Jira. If possible other files could be opened in a lightbox as well.
If you take this into account, please use a fast technology. I know lightboxes that are rather slow, what is annoying.

There's already a plugin for this, no need to have this in redmine core IMHO.

This plugin is dead (last commit is two years ago). And I think all forks of it are also dead...
An alternative is ApiJS but this isn't a lightwight solution for this small thing (and doesn't work on my server - can't edit or delete attachments - don't know why). It's a never ending story for me...
Sorry, but I think it is required to have this in the redmine core.
