When "I don't want to be notified of changes that I make myself" is checked, it prevents email notifications for issues created and updated by a user to that user. The feature to prevent notifications is great when using the Web UI, because users instantly know what's happening in the system and don't necessarily need email notifications confirming their actions. However, when an issue is created or updated via email, there is no visual feedback for the user that confirms their email was processed by Redmine. Redmine is completely silent and users can only know of changes if they log in and confirm it on the website. It would be nice if there were an override enabling email confirmations ONLY on issues created or updated over email.
