No, you can use Gemfile.local as this.

group :development do
  gem "better_errors" 
  gem "binding_of_caller" 
end

Thanks I just wanted to propose adding those 2 gems to raise awareness for new developers.

Anyway they don't bring something special, just a bit more informal view.
