I think this would give a fairly decent view of the most requested features at a glance.

Statistics about watchers would be good...

+1. This would be a good addition. Since Redmine and many other open source projects uses number of potential customers seeking features as one of the criteria for development priority.
While, vote count is not a standard feature in Redmine, the watcher count seems best suitable statistic for the popularity.
A must have feature (for public domain projects)
