Could you detailed steps to reproduce the problem?

1. open timesheet/index
2. choose "From" instead of "Period". Btw it could some default period instead of a 'mm/dd/yyyy'
3. select a date
4. select a user
5. click "Search"
6. it shows the result
7. have a look at "From". it shows again 'mm/dd/yyyy'. The period selected in step 3 should be kept.

it is really annoying
cos every time you change the user you have to specify the period again and again
and if you have forgotten to specify the period - it selects the whole data from the history and it is very slow because we have a lot of history data.

Probably the page "Timesheet" is provided by a third-party plugin. Plain Redmine does not have a page with such name.
