Redmine

I was just looking for a way to privately reply to a message I received in a ticket and it struck me that there's no PM system. I wanted to reply directly to the member to avoid cluttering up the ticket with personal correspondence. Not only can I not find a PM system but I also can't see any contact details when I click his user name. These are 2 features that are a standard on most community management sites and I think would be extremely useful for Redmine to incorporate.

I realise Redmine is still very much under development but I just thought I'd put the idea out there as I couldn't find any similar suggestions when searching.

In summary, I am suggested 2 features:

• A simple private messaging system and user inboxes
• A more elaborate "profile" page for each user with custom fields
