For growing number of fields (user defined or via plugin) the unsorted list gest hard to handle.

Hmm, I don't know if sorting this list alphabetically would be the best way to go... Although it can function as a start to something better...

Well alternatively there could be an admin setting where order can be configured gloably. More comfigurable would be optionally change that per project. Ther could be a button which can sort the list alpabetically, so admin don't have to to do that if he wants alpabetically order. So he just push the button and the click "save order".

The fields are not unsorted, they are sorted per the defined order in the Admin/Custom Fields screen.
