Redmine Silencer 3¶

This is a 100% FREE Redmine Plugin. Upgraded version of well-known Redmine Silencer plugin designed to suppress email notifications (at will) when updating issues. Please contact the Ready Redmine team about additional functionalities.

• Blocking email notification for single issue update
• Blocking email notifications for bulk issue update
• Global switch in header for blocking all email notifications

Configuration¶

Go to Administration > Roles and permissions > select a role and enable
'Suppress email notifications in issue' - for the role to be able to control silencing notifications on issue edit level
'Suppress email notifications globally' - for the role to be able to control silencing notifications using a global switch

You can also enable the setting 'Silent mode on issue level enabled by default?' in Administration > Plugins > Configure for the 'Redmine Silencer 3' plugin.

• Go to the code repository and clone or download plugin files
• Extract all the files into 'plugins' directory of your Redmine installation (your_redmine_root_directory/plugins/redmine_silencer/{all files should be in this folder})
• Restart Redmine
