RedTimer is an open-source multi-platform standalone time tracker for Redmine. It utilises the Redmine REST API.

To use custom fields, please install the Redmine Shared API plugin (http://www.redmine.org/plugins/redmine_shared_api).

In the settings window, you can specify the URL of the Redmine instance and the API key which can be found in
the Redmine account settings.

In the main window, you can enter or select an issue. After issue selection, the issue data will be displayed
and the timer can be started.

To select an issue, you can use the Issue Selector which lists available issues according to the selected
project, assignee and version.

To create a new issue, you can use the Issue Creator which will start tracking time while you type the new
issue data.

Installation notes

I recommend to download a release from https://github.com/fathomssen/redtimer/releases.

On Linux, you will have to install some packages to make the release work (please refer to https://github.com/fathomssen/redtimer/blob/master/README.Ubuntu.md).
