Change the footer of Redmine
Added by Tobias Schmitt over 14 years ago
Hey guys,
is it possible to add something to the footer? I must show some additional info on every page. (We don't want to use the welcome text).
Thanks!

Quick hack: Edit source:trunk/app/views/layouts/base.rhtml
Better/Cleaner way: I think plugins should be able to drop stuff in the footer, not sure how though.

Does anyone know a better way to add some text to the footer without changing base.rhtml
? I would like to preserve changes between Redmine upgrades.

Dear, thanks for this information.
Now I 'd like to displaying an SSL Secure Site Seal in our website.
It is a javascript.
Do you have any idea where I need to add the javascript in the base.html.erb?
Best Regards,
Youssef

You may use a hook :view_layouts_base_content by writing a simple plugin.
