I am thinking about issue templates. These could be used to open issues that are formatted in the same way, and the user should only enter specific data in them. Templates could be used also in the issues' notes, in the news and their comments.

I know that implementing templates is a lot of work, so I do not open an issue about them but this thread in the forum. That way more free ideas could be collected here.

The templates may be collected in a database table, with fields as 'Id', 'Name', 'Content'. This is the simple way. If we go beyond it, we may think about templates with keywords in them. Then, when creating issue, the user may provide (via Redmine's user interface) values for these keywords and this way to create real issue. And if we go beyond this, this model could be used when creating issues by emails.
